Longton’s a village people settle in. And the house that was perfect when you moved in doesn’t always stay perfect. The kids get bigger, or a parent needs to move in, or you’d just like everything on one floor.
That’s often a job for an extension or a remodel, not a move. One of our projects took a dated 1980s bungalow and turned it into an open, accessible home for a multi-generational family, with a big rear extension, a roof lantern and level access to the garden. It’s a good example of what a bit of thought can do with the house you’ve already got.
